Voiceglobe is a Next Generation Internet Telephony Provider, introducing to the Internet community worldwide innovative voice and advanced real time communication services over the Internet. Voiceglobe Group of companies has currently point of presence, operations and network infrastructure installed in USA and Europe..
This was an international project with strict requirements and a need for a site which will provide information to Voiceglobe's current and prospective customers. The requirement was to categorize information into a section available to all and to a section available only to subscribers. Subscribers should be able to manage their accounts online and to be presented with billing information which would be retrieved from Voiceglobe’s backend billing system.
Having analyzed the project's requirements, ATCOM S.A. decided to use the Netvolution™ platform on top of which to develop the functionality required. Netvolution™'s modular architecture and unmatched performance would guarantee the strict performance and availability criteria set by the customer.
- Netvolution™'s Team working and workflow management module was used to handle approval of new products and product and prices updates to ensure that information given are valid and updated.
- Netvolution™'s E-commerce module gave access to optimal product information management and provided the ideal infrastructure on top of which specific features were built. E-commerce module's product catalogue was extended to handle services as products giving customers the capability of buying talk time, like they would do with any other retail product, and to bundle services with hardware to receive reduced prices. Talk time purchased can be set to auto renew giving customers peace of mind.
- Netvolution™'s feature rich data access layer allowed ATCOM S.A. to seamlessly integrate Netvolution™'s repository with Voiceglobe’s billing software to present detailed information to end users.
- Netvolution™'s FAQ Manager was used to provide a flexible way of managing the questions most frequently asked by customers. Website users can post new questions at any time which are then answered by Voiceglobe's personnel. New users can then resort to these answers to solve common issues regarding their accounts.
