Liberis Publications S.A. case study
The requirement
Design and develop a series of web sites for Liberis Publications' magazines. The goal was to fulfil present and future needs by using a platform that would allow easy maintenance of the websites to be developed and end-user interaction in a homogenous manner. The whole process would have to be highly efficient and cost effective in order to allow the editors to maintain all sites, with the least possible effort and cost, and assist them in their daily job of news posting.
The solution
Netvolution™'s content management capabilities proved to be ideal for the project’s nature. Most project requirements were met by features and modules already available in the platform, leaving only very specific things to be developed ad hoc.
- Netvolution™'s Content Editor which resembles Microsoft Word functionality allowed web editors to have complete control over content. This way they can easily keep the sites up to date by adding new content as they see fit, enriched with images and multimedia files, with minimal fuss.
- Netvolution™'s Team working and workflow management module helped magazines' managers to approve every change before going live ensuring that content is always valid and well checked. Netvolution™'s complete user authentication and authorization features were used to assign to editors rights to specific areas of each site to ensure that no editor could interfere with other's work.
- Netvolution™'s Forum Module provided a complete and feature rich solution for social networking between sites, and in extension magazine readers, visitors. Forum Module where fully integrated with the look and feel of each specific site providing a seamless end user experience.
